Every year I tend to deliver a short animation for Halloween. 2018 was featured with iconic and traditional scary pumpkin.
In 2018 I decided to go classic. Iconic scary pumpkin carved face.
This was the first year I started integrating Houdini into the workflow. The speed of simulations was shocking and I use it constantly since then.
Regular shading, animation, lighting. No fancy rigs, just pose-morph for the laughing action.
Compositing is quite simple too.
